WizeFloor has found it's use in many different domains. We have collected a couple of cases showing how WizeFloor is being used by our customers.
At the Danish school, Vesterbakkeskolen, WizeFloor contributes to the academic and social development of the pupils. The floor has some educational advantages, which are particularly apparent at the special school, says Anna Rysbjerg Christensen, who has been a teacher at Vesterbakkeskolen for 11 years.
The Danish nursery, Børnehuset Taarnborg, has worked with WizeFloor for the last three years. The children ask for it as soon as the employees enter the nursery, and now the WizeFloor is only referred to as "The floor".
Many people with dementia find that they are suddenly unable to find their way or remember, and consequently they lose control. WizeFloor is a tool to help people with dementia learn strategies for how to handle confusing situations.
WizeFloor is easy to decode, and it is straightforward how to use the floor, which makes it easy to join the games. The floor appeals to many different age groups. It can attract families, grandparents and grandchildren to be together on the floor, says Sidsel Bech-Petersen, Library Developer at Dokk1 in Aarhus.
One of the major challenges for people suffering from dementia is to remember things and recognize their daily routines in everyday life. Jigsaw puzzles on WizeFloor may help relieve this problem. This is the reason why WizeFloor is being used to enhance learning at the social and health care college in Fredericia, Vejle and Horsens.
